Hubble Bubble is a non-profit making artist led volunteer organisation which presents live music programmed and performed by UK based artists from different cultural backgrounds. HB has been promoting fusion music that brings together traditional idioms with new media, thus forging an innovative music that is both contemporary and rooted in the diverse cultures represented. Hubble Bubble was set up on 24/02/2000. HB provides well-promoted performance opportunities to artists, so creating access to the music industry in the UK and abroad. So far we have given platform over 60 different live bands and many more sound systems, dancers, trapeze artists and DJs. Currently our events are based at two different venues; Carling Academy Islington (North London) and The Albany - Lewisham (South London).
Our focus of music comes from Turkish, Balkan, North African and Arabic background but we also give platform to African, Latin and Asian acts.
